In the re-seller community, the owner of the eBay Store “thelowkeyhusky” discovered an amazing Holy Grail find at a Thrift Store in the Bay Area, California. For $.50 cents they purchased the above pair of a one of a kind Apple branded sneakers. They are vintage, circa 1990s. There is no archive of this exact shoe existing on the internet, just Google it! A previous auction took place in Beverly Hills, CA for a similar pair of rare Apple branded shoes that started the bidding at $15,000.00. However, no bids were made and the pair of kicks went unsold. However, this pair of shoes could fetch $30,000 – $100,000 on eBay where the bids are currently at $11,600 as of the writing of this article. The pair of sneakers features white lace-ups, tongue stitched with the old rainbow Apple Logo as well as rainbow stitching of the company name, “Apple”. [UPDATE Aug 24, 2017] The Apple sneakers sold on auction for $10,600. However, the seller confirmed that the buyer canceled the transaction because they could not afford to pay! Turns out it was a magazine that was bidding on the Apple sneakers, very unfortunate that they wouldn’t pay. So, the owner of the shoes decided to relist them on eBay as a Buy-it-now item, currently listed for $9,999.99.
